When I first met the team at RD2, I was impressed not only by the work in their portfolio, but by the atmosphere they have created. It’s obvious in the way they talk about each other that every person here respects and admires the abilities of their co-workers. And they should. There is incredible talent here, and I’m excited that I get to be a part of the excellent work RD2 is doing.
What will I be doing here? Whatever I can. Be it wireframing a site to coding its HTML, wherever I can fit into the RD2 process, I will.
I’m also excited that I’m working for a company with a blog. I have been keeping a blog since 2000 and organize a community of local bloggers, so I’m very interested in this medium. I think blogs are a fascinating look into a person’s or, in our case, a company’s life. With this blog, you get to see what is on our individual and collective minds. It serves as a repository for our research. It reminds us that maybe we should reconsider that scone. It offers our clients a glimpse into the people and the company that create their work.
I’m looking forward to posting here about our culture, our work, and the best of what I find on the internet (and there are a lot of good things!).
