After hustling around the San Jose area for the past three days, i was relieved to finally get into the Admiral’s Club at San Jose Airport……a place where i could finally get some peace and quiet. Over the last three days I must have said the words, “can you repeat that” a thousand times. So, i am finally nestled into a comfy chair working on my computer and chatting away with the office and my clients when someone was kind enough to tell me how rude I was being. I even got him to take a snapshot of the situation. See the little sign just to the upper right of me (((Phone Free Area)))?

Chris Hipp is the father of Blade Computing. He is now living in Redwood City, California. The other day he picked me up from my hotel and took me on the most unbelievable drive through the mountains just near his house. Chris and I used to race out of Dallas, Texas. I think this was his way of just showing me how great he has it now. At the time I shot this picture, Chris had been telling me how all of the problems of the world melt away when he rides his bicycle through here. This is his church.

I was with my friend, Chris Hipp, as he was showing me the incredible rides he is doing just a few miles from his house. I could not resist the temptation of snapping a few pics.

Picking Up Fabio

So, I was at my LogLogic meeting today and my cab driver, Richard, came running to the door to make sure I got out on time. He seemed pretty excited because he had a call to pickup Fabio at EBay. He only had twenty minutes and had to get me back to where I was staying. I gave him the address to our blog, so, i have to ask Richard — did you find Fabio? And, what was he doing at EBay?

Flickr Photos - “Interestingness”

Chris Ronan @ 29 Mar 2006 :: Links :: comments (0)

So, I just recently set myself up with a flickr account. I opted for the pro account so that i could upload a massive amount of pictures if i wanted to…and so far i have uploaded a ton. With the two gig upload per month, i figured I could not go wrong. The big idea was to share photos with friends and family. Not to mention the ones that I don’t mind leaving wide open for everyone to see. Also, we created an RD2 group. This is a group we will try to upload pictures of daily life at RD2 as time allows. Over all, i am in love with Flickr. The big surprise to me was the the “interestingness” category. I can cruise through the really great pictures for days. These are posted by the general Flickr community.
