As I walked into the conference room for the Southwest presentation meeting last week, I noticed something a little different. Laptops run rampant at rd2. I do not have a laptop…unless of course you count my sketchpad-the original laptop. I’m old-school, people. Yes I can use a laptop, and let’s face it, if I didn’t know how to use a computer my days would be seriously numbered. But you just can’t beat the speed and functionality of a good old Strathmore laptop…if you’re a designer. A newer laptop is probably better for people who like to write programs on their calculators or set up servers in their apartment. I am not one of those people.
