You find the strangest things sometimes when scanning through your RSS feeds late at night. I’ve actually seen this some time ago, but it’s still an interesting representation of how this java applet scans your web site and provides a unique display based on the form and structure of your site. Click here, to see how our web site is structured. When you are done, you can try your own.
Here’s a rendering of the RD2 Blog through the graph applet. You can click here to see the build.
There’s also a pretty cool collection of these on flickr.
“What do the colors mean? blue: for links (the A tag) / red: for tables (TABLE, TR and TD tags) / green: for the DIV tag / violet: for images (the IMG tag) / yellow: for forms (FORM, INPUT, TEXTAREA, SELECT and OPTION tags) / orange: for linebreaks and blockquotes (BR, P, and BLOCKQUOTE tags) / black: the HTML tag, the root node / gray: all other tags”
