cliqcliq (my company) has just released a new native iPhone app called Quickpic that lets web app developers support image and video uploads from Mobile Safari. It requires a little code, but it's pretty easy to integrate.

Hopefully Apple will add native support for this one day though.

I followed the advice in this article, and made a regular link to google maps, but it opened Google maps itself, not the iPhone maps application , as told in this article. what do I do wrong?

My link is:
<a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?q=cafe+bosvreugd,+reeshofdijk+12,+tilburg-west" rel="nofollow">Party location</a>

Too bad. There is a photos app in iPhone and I would have liked to be able to upload a photo from it to my website.

>File upload widgets always show disabled
>since the iPhone has no user-perceivable
>file system.

Thanks for the great UI design guidelines for the iPhone. I wonder if anything has changed for the iPhone 3G, which I'm using to type this comment.

Good stuff! I too had read through the development guidelines and agree it was well put together.

While my iPhone relationship started bumpy with less than good phone functionality (audio mostly), I believe the few software upgrades they've applied have indeed helped.

Now with the v1.1.3 I am tickled with the ability to add icons to my sites! Um, which I just noticed you folks have not yet done...Let's Do'er!
