Job Description

RD2 is currently seeking individuals for the full-time position of Sr. Software Engineer. The candidate must have at least 5 years experience working in Microsoft technologies and must have worked with at least 3 projects from inception to deployment. We are only looking for experienced individuals who have been in real-world working environments. The following capabilities are required in order to be considered:

• Must be able to work collaboratively and independently
• Be able to creatively think though problems that result in deployable solutions
• Must be able to understand how information flows and is augmented through an entire system to achieve an intended result
• Be able to speak effectively and intelligently with clients in both meetings and one-on-one settings

Along with being able to work effectively, the candidate must be a self-starter and must be willing to work on the edge of technology from the database layer to the presentation layer. The ideal candidate should not consider working with these technologies a job, but a part of what they do everyday because they enjoy it. We’re looking for candidates who are oozing with passion for what they do. The following skill-sets are mandatory:

• Strong working knowledge and experience using Silverlight 2.0 (3.0 a plus)
• Must have strong knowledge of WPF / XAML
• Must have experience developing in .NET 3.0 and 3.5 Framework
• Must be able to develop in C#
• Experience using Expression Blend
• Experience using Visual Studio 2008
