It took a man from New Zealand from California to get me to Sammy’s in Dallas for the first time today. Mmmm Good! Now this is great barbeque.
Andy Lark was in to see us today from LogLogic, fresh in from his trip to Tokyo. We usually start our work sessions by talking about the cool new web software. Today we started out by looking at Quickbase, Dabble and a few really cool plug-ins for Word Press that cuts through the spam clutter and organizes cumbersome draft folders.
Safe travels, Andy!
Congratulations to RD2 client LogLogic, who yesterday made a big announcement about the release of their new open source tool, Project Lasso.
Project Lasso “promotes rapid development of innovative technologies for monitoring any kind of Windows event…” giving “…auditors a detailed record of user activity, including which files, objects and applications were touched when.”
So, I was at my LogLogic meeting today and my cab driver, Richard, came running to the door to make sure I got out on time. He seemed pretty excited because he had a call to pickup Fabio at EBay. He only had twenty minutes and had to get me back to where I was staying. I gave him the address to our blog, so, i have to ask Richard — did you find Fabio? And, what was he doing at EBay?
